International Spread the Word Day

    What: Spreading word about the Temple through sharing art, personal stories and adventures
    When: Saturday 28th of August
    Where: Everywhere in the world where there are Chrysalids – and of course online and on Discord!
    Who can participate: This event is for all Chrysalids

    Let’s gain some visibility and spread the word about the Temple of Chrysalis in the Chrysalis style! Instead of grabbing a megaphone and yelling at the corner of a mall, let’s find fun, creative and magical ways to pique people’s interest!

    Read the list below and pick something that suits you and then spend a fun Saturday doing it, accompanied by all the other Chrysalids through Discord!
    You can also come up with new suggestions on how to spread the word! Send your suggestions to Nerea before the 28th – I will check that they are in keeping with the Chrysalis style and then add them to the list!

    Instructions

    1. Pick an activity to do from the list

    2. Gather the needed materials and get excited

    3. On Saturday 28th go do it and have fun!

    4. Share your progress and adventures with your fellow Chrysalids on Discord

    5. Use @templeofchrysalis and #templeofchrysalis if you post to social media.

    6. Check out and like & comment what your fellow Chrysalids have posted on social media

    7. Behave with dignity and make sure you represent us in an honorable way!

    8. Be proud of being a Chrysalid and part of such an amazing community

    Things NOT to do when spreading word about Chrysalis:

     – Do not post clear advertising to Facebook groups. It’s often prohibited and the messages will be deleted.
    – Do not create social media accounts in the Temple of Chrysalis’ name. (Only the Pantheon and social media respondents have the right to do this.)
    – Do not force-feed our system to people or treat others’ beliefs as inferior.
    – Do not give the impression that you are part of the organising team or an authority of the Temple without authorisation.
    – Do not answer any questions you don’t know the answer to. Guide the asker to contact the Temple.
    – Do not take part in hate commenting or fighting. However, you can defend yourself or another Chrysalid.
    – Do not add needless hashtags or hashtags that have nothing to do with the topic of the post ( #lol #iamhappytoday etc.)
     

    Spread the Word activities

    Group photos, selfies, Chrysalis aesthetics, sharing your altar, writing a post, creating poetry, creating art, hiding mysterious notes - you have several fun and great options!

    Art

    – Make a Chrysalis-inspired art piece on a medium of your choice and share it on social media! Remember to tag the Temple’s account and add a link to the Temple website.

    – Make a witchy art installation somewhere with Triaga or Chrysalis symbolism in it. Hide an invitation somewhere close by.

    – Look like a badass Chrysalid! Dress up in your best Chrysalid gear and paint the seal of the three circles on your forehead. (Instructions here: https://discord.com/channels/535927019557617664/621264499495927828/859882698894344204 )

    – Make a Kaleidoscope or Chrysalis-inspired make up and take pictures! Post on social media. Remember hashtags. Check out the Luminary’s Acherontia inspired make-up tutorial: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMRLtGWq4/

    – Make a moodboard with TH3 NORTH3RN CROWN’s instructions and post it on SoMe! Make sure you have the right to use all the pictures (Instructions: https://discord.com/channels/535927019557617664/600032888590827550/876815391266074624)

    Stories

    – Topic suggestions: What do you love about the Temple of Chrysalis? How has the Chrysalis system helped you? What piqued your interest when you first found the Temple of Chrysalis? (If you are a newcomer, you can simply tell that you have just found this amazing group, and share your first impression.)

    – Write a post about some of the above topics. Share your story on social media. Remember to tag the Temple!

    – Make a video, a tiktok or an Insta reel! Remember to tag the Temple! – Make an Insta story – those are great and easy for us to share. – Write a poem or a story with Chrysalis themes or even about Chrysalis!

    – Take a classic Chrysalis selfie using the Luminary’s instructions: https://discord.com/channels/535927019557617664/600032888590827550/878201689897852938and DM it directly to Luminary Blackthorn on Discord. DEADLINE of sending selfies: Saturday 28th EEST 20:00 (Finland) / EDT 13:00 (New York) / BST 18:00 (London).

     

    Adventure

    – Paint a Triaga somewhere it can be found or print and put up some stickers (available in materials)! (Be smart where you do this and remember what the Edict says: you can do what you wish, but must also carry the responsibility.)

    – Print butterfly fliers (available in materials) and use tape to attach them to places where people can find them.

    – Download the Randonautica app, pick a Chrysalis-related intention and hide messages about Chrysalis along your path!

    – Make a secret adventure for a stranger! Put up a path of messages with clues to a place where you have made a Chrysalis-inspired installation and hidden an invitation to the Temple of Chrysalis Discord server.

    Remember, the date to do these is Saturday 28th of August!
